Portland – Dennis Wayne Pinette Sr., 75 of Westbrook passed away peacefully, on Saturday, December 31, at Mercy Hospital surrounded by family.
He was born September 15, 1941 in Rockland Maine, the son of Henry J. and Ruth (Mank) Pinette Sr. He attended Portland High School. He was the owner of Pinette Scrap Metal in Westbrook where he worked for 35 years. On March 17, 1983 he married Jane C. Connell.
Dennis was a wonderful husband and father. He was compassionate, hardworking and had lots of friends. He will be deeply missed.
Dennis loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, as well as watching sports on TV, especially the New York Giants and the Yankees.
Dennis was predeceased by his parents; a son Darrin; a step daughter Janie; a brother Everett; and 2 sisters Linda and Ruthie. He is survived by his wife Jane; step children Dennis, Cindy, Ricky, Jeff, Kathleen, Michelle, and Jimmy; his children Dennis Jr., Denise, and Debora; 2 brothers Jim and his wife Gerry, and Henry Jr.; 2 sisters Sakora, and Donna; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to visiting hours from 10 am to 12 pm on Friday January 6, 2017 at A. T. Hutchins Funeral & Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave, Portland.
